Redomiciliation of a Company

Redomiciliation allows a foreign company to transfer its legal registration to the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) without liquidation or the establishment of a new legal entity. As a result, the company continues its operations in the new jurisdiction while preserving its corporate history, assets, liabilities, and contracts.
The procedure is carried out in accordance with the rules of the AIFC Registrar of Companies and enables businesses to benefit from the Centre’s regulatory framework and business environment.

Redomiciliation to the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) is possible only for companies from jurisdictions that officially allow the transfer of a company from one jurisdiction to another, such as Cyprus, Luxembourg, the British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, and others. At the same time, companies from Kazakhstan cannot be redomiciled to the AIFC due to the absence of legislative provisions regulating this procedure.
